SK Gaming will be taking on Astralis on Friday in their fourth game of the LEC 2022 Summer season. The league has been underway since 17 June, 2022, and will end on 14 August, 2022. It follows a double round robin format with 10 teams participating in it before heading into a playoffs round where only the top-6 can qualify. The matches are best of one.
Neither of these teams qualified for the playoffs last time out and will be hoping to put that right this season.
SK Gaming vs Astralis Match Prediction
SK Gaming Have Made A Shaky Start To Their Campaign
SK Gaming would’ve been hoping to get off to a good start after managing only seven wins and 11 losses last time out but things haven’t really gone to plan so far in this season. They’ve lost two of their three games and it’s looking long already. This almost becomes a must-win so early in the season. Their only win came against the out of form BDS Gaming and the same can’t be said about their next opponents.

They’ll need Bot Laner, Jezu, to have a great game. He has averaged 3.71 kills, 2.19 deaths, 3.71 assists and 3.39 KDA this year. This won’t be enough and he’ll either need to up his game or get his teammates to push harder.
Astralis Look Much Improved
Astralis were not very good last season. They only managed three wins out of 18 games. They could tie that by winning this match. This change has occurred because of some new members on the roster. They’ve now got a new top laner, jungler and support and things seem to be clicking. Their Bot Laner, Kobbe, is still around. He has averaged 3.57 kills, 2.05 deaths and 4.43 assists with a KDA of 3.91 this year.
SK Gaming vs Astralis Betting Prediction
SK Gaming would’ve been nailed on to win this match last season but things have changed dramatically. For what it’s worth, one of Astralis’ three wins from last season was against SK Gaming.
Even if they had their roster from last time out, they’d probably have gone into this match with little to lose. Astralis will be heading into this match as favorites. They’re in form, have got the momentum that a new roster looks for and are playing against a side that is not in the best of form.

SK Gaming look like they might actually have gotten worse. There’s decent value in picking Astralis over SK Gaming. They should win this one to cement that they’re a very different side to the one from last season.
