The NBA has released its complete game schedule for the 2026-27 regular season, including broadcast and streaming assignments across Disney (ABC/ESPN/ESPN Radio), NBCUniversal (NBC/Peacock/NBCSN), and Amazon (Prime Video). The season tips off Tuesday, Oct. 20, and wraps Sunday, April 11, 2027, with all 30 teams in action on the final day.

The American Express NBA Tip-Off 2026 opener on Oct. 20 features an NBC/Peacock tripleheader: the Boston Celtics visit the Detroit Pistons at 3 p.m. ET, the defending NBA champion New York Knicks host the Philadelphia 76ers at 7 p.m. ET, and the San Antonio Spurs face the Oklahoma City Thunder at Frost Bank Center at 9:30 p.m. ET — a rematch of the 2026 Western Conference Finals.

ESPN picks up the schedule on Oct. 21 with a doubleheader featuring two-time Kia MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo making his Miami Heat debut against the Minnesota Timberwolves at 7:30 p.m. ET, then two-time Kia MVP Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors visiting 2025-26 scoring leader Luka Dončić and the Los Angeles Lakers at 10 p.m. ET. On Oct. 22, NBA all-time scoring leader LeBron James makes his Philadelphia home debut when the 76ers face seven-time All-Star Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers at 7 p.m. ET, followed by two-time reigning Kia MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leading the Thunder against three-time Kia MVP Nikola Jokić and the Denver Nuggets at Paycom Center at 9:30 p.m. ET.

For the 19th straight year, the NBA presents five Christmas Day games (Friday, Dec. 25), all on ABC/ESPN/ESPN App. The slate opens with a 2026 NBA Finals rematch between the Knicks and Spurs at Madison Square Garden at noon ET. It continues with Heat at Celtics (2:30 p.m. ET), 76ers at Lakers in James’ return to Los Angeles (5 p.m. ET), Thunder at Timberwolves in Minnesota’s first Christmas Day home game (8 p.m. ET), and Nuggets at Warriors (10:30 p.m. ET).

Emirates NBA Cup 2026

The regular-season schedule defines opponents for 80 of each team’s 82 games. The two unassigned games per team, played from Friday, Dec. 4 through Thursday, Dec. 10, will be set based on Emirates NBA Cup 2026 Group Play results. Group Play features 60 games on Cup Nights every Friday from Oct. 30 through Nov. 27, plus Tuesday, Nov. 24 and Wednesday, Nov. 25. Prime Video streams all Knockout Round games — Quarterfinals (Dec. 4–5), Semifinals (Dec. 8–9), and the Championship on Friday, Dec. 11 at Butler University’s Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
