Last updated: October, 2026
Ranking the best NBA tipsters and prediction sites for October 2026 starts with one question: who is actually in profit? Eddie Kline, an individual tipster, tops our sample-adjusted ranking with a +4.1% ROI, while Nathan Beighle posted the highest raw ROI in the top three at +4.3%.
Just 6 of the 34 ranked sources show a positive ROI across the full 12-month window, and the list mixes individual tipsters, algorithmic prediction sites and community votes. The 2026-27 season tips off this month, so the table still reflects the complete 2025-26 campaign.

Also tracked: 24 more tipsters and sites met our criteria this month; median ROI across all 34 was −4.4%.
Ranked by Adj. ROI: raw ROI × picks ÷ (picks + 200), which pulls small samples toward zero so a short lucky run cannot top the table. ROI differences of a few percentage points over a few hundred picks are within normal variance, so treat neighboring ranks as roughly equal.
Top 3 NBA Tipsters for October 2026
#1 Eddie Kline – Tipster
Adj. ROI +2.6% · ROI +4.1% · 339 picks · 231-108 · win rate 68.1% · avg odds 1.66
Eddie Kline leads our sample-adjusted ranking with an adjusted ROI of +2.6% (raw +4.1%) across 339 picks, backing favorites in 78.8% of selections at average odds of 1.66. The 231-108 record and 68.1% win rate hold up over a reasonably large sample, though the raw return softens once sample size is weighed in.
#2 Vitibet – Algorithm
Adj. ROI +2.2% · ROI +2.8% · 717 picks · 500-217 · win rate 69.7% · avg odds 1.56
Vitibet, an algorithm, ranks second with an adjusted ROI of +2.2% (raw +2.8%) across 717 picks, the largest sample in the top three. Its 69.7% win rate and 84.0% favorite rate at average odds of 1.56 suggest a conservative approach, and because the sample is so large, the adjustment trims very little from its raw return.
#3 Nathan Beighle – Tipster
Adj. ROI +1.5% · ROI +4.3% · 106 picks · 75-31 · win rate 70.8% · avg odds 1.54
Nathan Beighle posted the highest raw ROI on the board at +4.3%, with a 70.8% win rate across 106 picks and average odds of 1.54. Favorites made up 84.9% of selections. The smaller sample pulls the adjusted ROI down to +1.5%, so the raw figure carries more uncertainty than the other two entries.

- DRatings climbed from #25 to #24.

How We Rank NBA Tipsters
- Source. We take every NBA pick that tips.gg tracks from 51 sources: individual tipsters, prediction sites, algorithms and community votes.
- Scope. NBA regular season, NBA Cup and playoffs; moneyline (match winner) picks only; the last 12 months to Sep 30, 2026.
- Minimum sample. At least 100 graded picks in the window, and a pick within 45 days of the last NBA game.
- Metric. ROI at average market odds for a 1-unit stake: (profit ÷ picks) × 100. The table is ordered by sample-adjusted ROI (Adj. ROI = ROI × picks ÷ (picks + 200)), so a source with a short lucky run cannot outrank a long, steady record. Win rate and the share of picks on the favorite are shown for context.
- Ties and updates. Larger samples win ties. The ranking refreshes monthly.
What Makes a Good Basketball Tipster?
Sample size
A hot week proves little. Over 20 picks, luck dominates; over several hundred, skill starts to show. That is why we require at least 100 graded picks before anyone appears in the table.
ROI beats win rate
Win rate on its own is misleading in the NBA because favorites win most games. A source that always picks the favorite looks accurate but still loses money once the bookmaker margin is priced in. ROI tells you whether the picks actually found value.
Beating the favorite baseline (67.9%)
Over the same 12 months, simply backing the favorite in every game won 67.9% of the time and returned −5.3%. A tipster worth following should beat that line, not just a coin flip.
Transparent, complete records
Good tipsters publish every pick in advance and keep the losses visible. Our numbers come from picks tracked by tips.gg, not from screenshots supplied after the fact.
Tipsters vs. Handicappers vs. Prediction Sites
The table mixes several kinds of sources, and the Type column tells you which is which. Tipsters are individual analysts posting their own picks. In the US they are usually called handicappers or cappers; the job is the same. Prediction sites and algorithms publish picks generated by models or editorial teams. Community entries are the majority vote of a site’s users. We rank them on the same scale because, for a bettor, the question is identical: did following these picks make money?
Use this ranking as a filter, not a guarantee. Look at ROI and sample size together, be wary of very high win rates built on short-priced favorites, and compare a source’s record with the favorite baseline above. The table refreshes monthly.

How are the NBA tipsters on this page ranked?
We calculate every number ourselves. tips.gg tracks each NBA pick from 51 tipsters, prediction sites and community votes, settles it against the final result and the average market odds, and works out ROI on a flat 1-unit stake. No self-reported records or screenshots are used. To stop short lucky runs from topping the table, we rank by sample-adjusted ROI (ROI × picks ÷ (picks + 200)). Sources need at least 100 graded picks in the last 12 months and recent activity to qualify, and the table refreshes monthly.
