Luminosity Gaming comes into this series as the heavy favorite in my opinion. They defeated Sentinels and Faze Clan so far, and sit in the top spot of Group B with a comfortable 2-0.

This match is very important for Luminosity Gaming since a win here will qualify them for the playoffs, and it’s their easier remaining series, as they will face Optic Gaming and Cloud9 after this matchup versus Evil Geniuses.

bdog has been playing at an MVP level and Luminosity in general has been delivering. Even in close matches, like both their games versus Faze Clan they were able to come out on top.

Evil Genius are not pushovers, and they come from a good 2-0 win versus Sentinel, but let’s be real Sentinels are no longer a title-contending team, and to be honest, right now they are a team on the level of Evil Geniuses and Ghost Gaming, middle of the pack team that will struggle to get wins.

There is a chance that Evil Geniuses takes this series all the way to three maps, and maybe we will have a much closer series than most are expecting.

However, I think that Luminosity Gaming when it comes to playing versus “weaker ” opponents is very good at still playing at their high level and getting comfortable and dominant wins, and I expect them to do the same thing here.
