After a heart-break defeat against XERXIA in open match, OpTic didn’t lose any series, made an upper bracket final appearance. LOUD, who started the way at Masters from playoffs, won Team Liquid and G2 Esports.
The start of the series was unsatisfactory for the team from Brazil. OpTiC smashed them 13:2 on Fracture, took the lead in the series 1:0.

OpTic were ready to end this series on Ascent, winning the first half 7-5. But LOUD had another plans for this match. Incredible run on defense, lost only one round, winning eight.

Icebox was a decider map. LOUD had an early advantage, took the lead 6:1. But after timeouts, OpTiC managed to close the gap, ended the first half 7:5. LOUD won the second pistol round, decreased enemy’s chance to win the match. But NA representative again have demonstrated the character, closed the gap to one round. The teams then exchanged victories in three consecutive rounds. In the last round of Icebox, OpTiC made A fake, tried to execute B, but Brazilian team managed to defend the site, and won the 13th round. LOUD took a victory in the series, securing the spot in the grand final.

Zeta Division vs Paper Rex
The eliminations match was between Paper Rex and ZETA Division. The APAC team won the pistol round, but the Japanese team took the lead 4:3. After the timeout, Paper Rex took five round in a row, won the half. Thanks to victory in the second pistol round, Paper Rex managed to win Icebox 13:6.

ZETA Division didn’t give up, and took the early lead on Haven. As a result, the Japanese team, firstly, won the half 10:2, and the beat the opponent 13:2.
The third map was Split. A farewell map for ZETA, as it secured their victories against Liquid and DRX. This match was no exception. Paper Rex again won both pistol rounds, but they were not able to win any bonus rounds.

Paper Rex had the lead 9:7, but ZETA firstly tied the game, then keep the advantage, and clinched the important victory with score of 13:10. The reaction of Japanese fans is insane.

Paper Rex took the 4th place at Masters, won $65,000 and 300 points. ZETA will play today against OpTic in lower bracket final bo5 match. The winner will play in the grand final against LOUD on this Sunday.
