Chevalier joined PSG last summer but has operated primarily as a backup to Matvey Safonov. The prospect of regular minutes at Anfield, or at minimum meaningful competition with Giorgi Mamardashvili, could be enough to attract the Frenchman to the Premier League.

A Low-Cost Option for Liverpool
PSG signed Chevalier less than a month ago, and his secondary role at the club has kept his Transfermarkt valuation at £25 million — a reasonable outlay for Liverpool if that figure reflects his actual asking price.
Chevalier is a modern goalkeeper: sharp reflexes, composed in possession, and technically capable of building from the back. At over six feet tall, he also commands his area with authority.
Whether he would arrive as the undisputed number one at Anfield is uncertain. Mamardashvili was signed from Valencia with the long-term intention of replacing Alisson, but the Georgian’s performances have not made a convincing enough case for that role yet. That leaves genuine space for Chevalier to stake his claim if he makes the move.
PSG‘s valuation will be the defining factor. Liverpool are unlikely to commit significant funds to the goalkeeper position when a capable option is already on the books. Follow TipsGG for continued coverage as this transfer story develops.
