Nobody forgets a Merseyside derby. What people miss is the Wednesday in late February that turns out to have mattered more.
A Liverpool season is not really one schedule, it is four running at once — the league, two domestic cups, and whatever European campaign the previous May earned. They interleave badly on purpose: a midweek tie forces the weekend fixture to move, a cup replay appears out of nowhere, a broadcaster takes a Saturday game and puts it on Sunday evening. The list you saved in the summer is out of date by the second international break and there is no notification when it happens.
Which is a reasonable thing to stop doing manually.

What is actually in it
Every competition Liverpool play in, in one feed: the Premier League, the FA Cup, the EFL Cup, European ties and pre-season friendlies. One calendar rather than one per competition.
Each match lands as its own event, with:
- the kick-off time, converted automatically to whatever time zone your device is set to
- the venue
- the competition the match belongs to
- a link to the TipsGG preview, odds and tips for that game
You also get Google’s normal reminders before kick-off, using whatever notification settings you already use for everything else.
The part that matters: it maintains itself
This is the difference between a calendar and a list.
Twice a week the schedule is re-checked against the source. If a kick-off has been moved, the event in your calendar moves with it — same event, new time, no duplicate sitting underneath the old one. If a new fixture has been confirmed, whether that is a cup tie after a draw or a friendly announced in pre-season, it appears on its own. If a match is pulled from the schedule, it gets flagged in your calendar rather than quietly deleted, so you notice that something changed instead of wondering why the evening is suddenly free.
One detail worth knowing: matches more than a couple of months out carry a short line saying the kick-off time is provisional. That is not us hedging — broadcast selections genuinely have not been made that far ahead, and the placeholder time is corrected automatically once they are. We would rather tell you which times are soft than let you plan around a number we are not sure about.
European nights are the ones worth a reminder
League games follow a rhythm you can feel. Europe does not. The ties are drawn rather than scheduled, they sit in midweek, the kick-off is usually late in the evening in Britain and awkward almost everywhere else, and the opponent is often confirmed only a couple of weeks before you need to be watching.
These are also the matches people most regret missing, and the ones a fixture list handles worst — because half of them do not exist yet at the moment you look it up.
A subscribed calendar handles it the only sensible way: the tie appears the moment it is confirmed, at the confirmed time, in your time zone, with your usual reminder already attached. You do not have to go looking for it, which matters, because the whole problem is that you would not have known to look.

The calendar works on Android, iPhone, desktop and tablet — anywhere Google Calendar runs. If you do not have a Google account, one is free to create.

How to add it on iPhone, Apple Calendar or Outlook
Use the Subscribe here link at the bottom of the box above. It hands the calendar straight to your system calendar app rather than going through Google.
One warning, because it will save you a confused minute: on iPhone this link needs Safari. Third-party browsers on iOS, and the in-app browsers inside Facebook, X and the Google app, do not reliably pass a calendar subscription to the Calendar app — you tap it and nothing visible happens. If you are reading this inside a social app, open the page in Safari first, then tap Subscribe.
Prefer to keep everything in Google instead? Use the main button. On iPhone the matches will still show up in the Apple Calendar app, as long as your Google account is added under Settings → Apps → Calendar → Accounts with calendar sync switched on.
What an event looks like
Each fixture appears in the same shape, so it is easy to spot among your own appointments:

Open it and you get the kick-off time in your own time zone, the venue, the competition, and a link through to our preview and odds for that match. Nothing else — no invitations, no attendees, and it will not mark you as busy or clash with your own events.
If you change your mind
Unsubscribing takes one tap. In Google Calendar, find the calendar in your list, open its settings and remove it. Every Liverpool fixture disappears with it and nothing of yours is touched. You can also just untick it to hide the fixtures for a while without unsubscribing.
