The final Bo5 series

The full Bo5 series in the finals between the two European League of Legends organizations started with two victories of the French team against the likes of the Fnatic’s roster.

On the first map of the series, Karmine Corp managed to comeback from the 5k gold difference, due to the superior positioning on the map and a few successful teamfights during the first game.

The opposing organization from the United Kingdom then managed to equalize the score in the series. The UK team almost flawlessly won two next sets in a row of their own.

In the final 20 minute game of the series, the French esports organization managed to overcome their rivals, with the 12k gold difference and 17:4 score in kills, and win the match and the whole tournament.

Karmine Corp won the European Masters Summer 2021 event and took first place prize, while Fnatic came second, earning $29,438. Teams BIG and Misfits Premier finished 3rd-4th in the tournament, taking $15,896 prize money.

This is the second in a row win in the European Masters championship series for the LoL’s division of the French organization, which is a unique and historical achievement itself for one of the main European LoL event’s series.

French team’s recent performance

Karmine Corp recently finished second in their local LFL league in August, LFL Summer 2021. The French LoL team won the group stage of the league with the convincing 14-4 score, but lost in the playoffs final game with the 1:3 score to their opponents — team Misfits Premier.

Team Karmine Corp also notably won the previous European Masters Spring 2021 event, which was held in May, beating UK team BT Excel with the 3:1 score in the finals of the tournament, and earning $48,108. The French team first flawlessly got through the group D. And in the knockout stage of the Spring event’s semifinals, the team beat UCAM Esports Club from Spain with the 2:1 score.

Previously, in March, team Karmine managed to finish first at the LFL Spring 2021 tournament. The French team beat their rivals — Misfits Premier, with the 3:0 score in the finals, taking home $23,547 prize money.

The rising French team will once again compete against their eternal rivals — Misfits Premier, in the grand finals of the upcoming LFL 2021 Championship Finals, a $23,550 prize pool League of Legends tournament, based in Monaco. The final Bo5 series of the event is set to happen on October 4.
