Juventus are reportedly in negotiations over a surprise loan move for Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, according to Defensa Central. The Serie A club has identified the Ukrainian international as a potential alternative as they search for reinforcement between the posts.
Juventus are currently pursuing Parma‘s Zion Suzuki as their preferred target, but the Japanese goalkeeper is also attracting serious interest from PSG. Should that deal fall through, the Turin club appears ready to redirect its attention toward Lunin as a backup option.
Juventus Weigh Lunin as a Goalkeeper Alternative
Reports from Italy indicate Juventus have put Lunin forward as a possible loan candidate. The 27-year-old has been part of Real Madrid’s pre-season preparations, featuring before Thibaut Courtois returned to Valdebebas. At this stage of his career, Lunin remains capable of drawing interest from top European clubs, and Juventus see him as a credible short-term solution.
No information has emerged regarding the financial terms Juventus would be prepared to propose. It also remains unclear whether Real Madrid would entertain any discussions over a temporary departure, given the current situation at the club.

Real Madrid Have No Intention of Letting Lunin Go
Real Madrid are not willing to weaken their goalkeeping department. The club renewed Lunin’s contract less than two years ago, tying him down until 2030, a clear signal of the confidence they place in him.
His value within the squad has grown since Fran González’s departure to Sevilla in a deal worth around €3 million for 50 per cent of his registration rights. That move left Courtois and Lunin as the two senior options at the club, making the goalkeeping depth thinner than it has been in recent seasons.
That context makes a loan exit for Lunin exceptionally difficult to facilitate. Real Madrid are unlikely to leave themselves with a single senior goalkeeper, and Juventus will need to find an alternative path if the Suzuki pursuit collapses.
