Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua: Full Fight Card, Date, Time, and How to Watch

17.12.2025, 11:11

Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua is now just days away — and the boxing world still doesn’t quite know what to make of it.

This Friday, December 19, YouTuber-turned-pugilist Jake Paul headlines a live Netflix event against former two-time unified heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua in an eight-round professional bout at Miami’s Kaseya Center.

It’s a matchup born out of chaos. Paul’s original opponent, WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis, was removed from the card following recurring legal issues — opening the door for one of the most surreal heavyweight clashes modern boxing has ever seen.

Paul (12-1, 7 KOs) vs Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) will be contested with 10-ounce gloves over eight three-minute rounds.

Prelims begin at 4:45 p.m. ET on Netflix’s Tudum platform, with the main card starting at 8 p.m. ET, live and included for all Netflix subscribers. Main event ring walks are expected around 10:30 p.m. ET.

Main Event: Heavyweight Bout

JAKE PAUL vs ANTHONY JOSHUA

This is the most dangerous test of Jake Paul’s career. Not just because of Joshua’s résumé — but because of what he represents.

Joshua is an Olympic gold medalist, a global superstar, and one of the most feared punchers of the heavyweight era. At 6-foot-6 with an 82-inch reach, he’s still among the division’s elite, despite a September 2024 loss to Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium.

Earlier this year, Joshua brutally reminded the combat sports world of the difference between champions and experiments, flattening former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in under two rounds.

Paul, meanwhile, continues to defy expectations. Since turning pro in 2020, he’s beaten champions and stars from MMA, basketball, and bare-knuckle boxing — including Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz, Tyron Woodley, Mike Perry, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., and a 58-year-old Mike Tyson in a record-breaking Netflix event last November.

His lone professional loss came via split decision against Tommy Fury in 2023.

The size gap has been impossible to ignore during fight week. Joshua will be capped at 245 pounds at Thursday’s official weigh-in — still a massive physical edge over Paul.

Unified Super Featherweight World Championship

ALYCIA BAUMGARDNER vs LEILA BEAUDOIN

Alycia “The Bomb” Baumgardner (16-1, 7 KOs) is one of women’s boxing’s biggest stars — and one of its most dangerous punchers.

The undisputed super featherweight champion shocked the sport in 2021 by stopping Terri Harper, then unified the division with wins over Edith Matthysse and Mikaela Mayer before becoming undisputed in 2023.

She now defends her crown against Canada’s Leila Beaudoin, a fast-rising contender who didn’t even start boxing until age 18. Since turning pro in 2019, Beaudoin has surged through the rankings, most recently dominating former world champion Elhem Mekhaled in a breakout performance.

Champion vs hungry challenger. Real stakes.

6-Round Cruiserweight Bout (195 lbs)

ANDERSON SILVA vs TYRON WOODLEY

Two MMA legends. One more chapter.

Anderson “The Spider” Silva, widely regarded as one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time, continues his boxing run after wins over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Tito Ortiz — and a high-profile loss to Jake Paul.

Across from him stands former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, a fighter defined by explosive power and big moments. Both men have unfinished business in the boxing ring.

6-Round Super Featherweight Bout

JAHMAL HARVEY vs KEVIN CERVANTES

U.S. Olympian Jahmal Harvey (1-0, 1 KO) enters as one of America’s most decorated amateurs, a world championship gold medalist and Paris 2024 Olympian making an accelerated push in the pro ranks.

Kevin Cervantes (5-0, 5 KOs), however, has stopped every opponent he’s faced. Aggressive, pressure-heavy, and fearless, this is his toughest test to date.

Preliminary Card Highlights

CHERNEKA JOHNSON vs AMANDA GALLE
Undisputed Bantamweight World Championship

Australia’s Cherneka “Sugar Neekz” Johnson makes the first defense of her undisputed crown against Canada’s undefeated Amanda “Bambola” Galle — a fighter forged by adversity and elite amateur pedigree.

WBC Lightweight World Championship

Undefeated British star Caroline Dubois continues her rapid rise against Italy’s tough, seasoned southpaw Camila Panatta in a high-skill 10-round clash.

Three-division champion Yokasta Valle defends her title against rising Las Vegas contender Yadira Bustillos in another meaningful world title bout.
