Lawrence Shankland insists Hearts are ready to handle the pressure of leading the Scottish Premiership. The captain, now 30, says the team is comfortable being seen as favorites ahead of their Sunday showdown with Rangers at Tynecastle.
Shankland also reflected on his past, recalling how current Hearts boss Derek McInnes once told him he was surplus to requirements at Aberdeen. “I don’t hold grudges,” he said, adding that he never blamed McInnes for his exit from Pittodrie.
McInnes, meanwhile, is hoping the Hearts faithful will bring extra noise to Tynecastle as they face Rangers.
