PureR joined Gen.G after departing his former team, XSET, at the beginning of the 2022 VCT season. Although PureR was not part of an active roster during Stage 1 Challengers, he was active in non-VCT tournaments. Where he participated in the NSG Winter Championships with Pioneers, where his team would eventually be eliminated by Knights.
Before Stage 2 Challengers commenced, PureR join Gen.G alongside Noah “jcStani” Smith and would round out Gen.G VCT roster for Stage 2. The expectations for this newly constructed roster were high, but Gen.G would be unable to get past the open qualifiers. They would lose to 100 Thieves and Built By Gamers Academy in both open qualifiers respectively.
This unfortunate result means that Gen.G will have to wait until the next VCT season to have a chance to represent North America. Gen.G without PureR is competing in the third season of the MEL Premiership where they lost their first match against Knights Academy 2-1.
Gen.G’s current active roster is:
- Noah “jcStani” Smith
- Nicholas “NaturE” Garrison
- Emir “rhyme” Muminovic
- Shawn “Shawn” O’Riley
- Chris “Elmapuddy” Tebbit (Coach)
- Brandon “Traumist” Reyes (Assistant Coach)
