Frank Warren isn’t just hopeful — he’s confident. According to the veteran promoter, Daniel Dubois is a different man compared to the one who lost to Oleksandr Usyk in Poland two and a half years ago.
“Daniel is 27 now. It’s been a while, and he’s grown — especially mentally. He believes in himself. And I believe in him,” Warren declared.
And he’s not just throwing words around. Warren says Dubois is in top shape, punches with power, and most importantly, has shed any doubt. “He’s always had the strength. But now he has what he lacked back then — inner confidence,” he added.
Warren admits, “I can’t change what happened in that first fight.” But he’s quick to follow up: “I still think he could’ve won that fight. Let’s see what happens this time.”
There are just seven weeks to go. The rematch is set for July 19, and the atmosphere will be electric — 70,000 tickets already sold. “It’s going to be massive! Loud, thrilling, a proper British spectacle,” Warren promises.
And he believes Dubois might just pull off something no Brit has done before — take all four belts from the undisputed champ Usyk.
