The organization cited strict travel restrictions in Southeast Asia as the official reason for the parting. According to Talon Esports COVID, restrictions prevent bootcamps because all players reside in different countries. For example, Tal lives in Canada, which complicates logistics during preparation and play in the DPC season.
By the way, Talon Esports did not make it to Upper Division as many fans expected. The team achieved fairly average results and will continue to struggle in Division II next season.
