European Masters Spring 2022 Day 1 Predictions

European Masters Spring 2022 will crown the best team in all the European regional leagues. 16 teams from the best leagues around all of Europe will face each other with the goal to engrave their name on the history books.

On the first day of the tournament, we already have some of the favorites clashing against each other.

Without further ado let’s get right to the predictions.

AGO ROGUE vs Vitality.Bee

This edition of European Masters starts with the clash between the two favorites teams to make it out of Group A. Both teams have a very strong early game, and when ahead at the 15-minute mark, AGO ROGUE win 100% of their games, while Vitality.Bee won 85.7%.

Despite AGO ROGUE coming in as the champions from the polish league, I give Vitality.Bee the advantage on this series. The French league is a much more competitive league and Vitality has a really experienced roster, especially their bot lane duo. Szygenda also proved to be one of the best top laners on the LFLF this past split.  Skeanz is yet another experienced player which performed really well in the play-in phase, and is a jungle that has a lot of impact in the early game.

For me Vitality.Bee has a deeper champion pool, are a very experienced team, and also has individually talented players. I see Vitaly.Bee has the favorite in this match-up.

Crvena zvezda Esports vs Eintracht Spandau

The german vice-champions Eintracht Spandau come into this one as the massive favorites. Good early games, a big champion pool, and a team that likes to fight a lot are what define this squad.

A very high first tower percentage of  66.7%, a first blood percentage of the same valor, and almost an average of 1k gold lead at the 15 minutes mark show how strong the early game of this team is.

While Crvena zvezda Esports show the opposite, with a very low first tower percentage 28.6%, and a gold deficit of -200 at the 15 minutes mark, and taking into account that on paper Eintracht Spandau has more talented players it will be hard for the EBL champions to come out with the win.

If they want to have a chance of upsetting Eintracht Spandau they will need their superstar player Tsiperakos to have a great game.

Team BDS Academy vs Team ESCA Gaming

Supposedly this should be a very easy match for Team BDS Academy. The french vice-champions are just individually better, and as a team, they perform incredibly well together. 

Ther is a reason why this Team BDS Academy squad is seen as one of the favorites to lift the trophy. 

BDS Academy has a decent early game, and when they are ahead at the 15-minute mark with a substantial gold lead it’s very hard to come back. In terms of champion pool, this team has probably the deepest one in the tournament. Just so you guys understand how flexible they are Agresivoo played with eleven different champions throughout the LFL playoffs.

It just feels like BDS Academy will be too much for ESCA Gaming to handle.

Atleta Esport vs LDLC OL

Another game where the Franc team are the heavy favorites. LDLC OL is the reigning French champion and will come as no surprise that they are also among the favorites to win the event.

To be honest, there isn’t much I can say about this game, LDLC OL is just the better team, they are the winners of the best regional league in Europe, have a very experient and talented team, with a strong early game.

It would be a shock to me if LDLC OL didn’t win this match, but hey it’s League of Legends so anything can happen, especially in best of one.

BISONS ECLUB vs Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition

In my opinion, this is the hardest match to predict and is also the best series of the day so be sure to tune in.

Two very different teams when it comes to how they approach the game and how they play it. Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition manly play by their side lane players, top laner iBo and mid laner Ruby, who combined deal 60% of the team damage. They are also a decent early game team, having an average gold lead of 362 at the 15-minute mark, and winning all the games when they are ahead at 15 minutes. 

While BISONS ECLUB plays more for the mid to late game stages. It has on average a 1k gold deficit at 15 minutes, and both their first blood and first tower percentages are very low.

However, they are exceptional when it comes to late-game team fights, and know exactly what is needed to execute whatever comp they have.  Their champions pool is gigantic and they don’t have fear going off meta, and picking a Nasus adc, Karthus mid, or an Ahri top.

Myrwn can play the carry or the weakside role and is one of the best top laners in the tournament. The same goes for their adc Guubi, he can carry a game with his Aphelios, or play a more supportive champion like Soraka or Seraphine.

I think this is a truly 50-50 game, but I am a big fan of how BISONS ECLUB play and how unpredictable they are when it comes to the draft, making it harder for other teams to prepare for them.

Fnatic TQ vs Bifrost

I’ve talked about the favorite teams coming into this tournament, but if there is a team considered by many the strongest one in this tournament and the favorite to win this European Masters it’s Fnatic TQ.

The team is just on another level. Spectacular early game, one of the best squads when it comes to team fights, very experienced players, and all are very talented individuals.

I could go on and on about Fnatic TQ but I just need to say they are the team to beat at this European Masters so they should take the win in this game.
