Dreamas joined Team Liquid after departing OG LDN UTD as a replacement for Travis “L1NK” Mendoza during EMEA Stage 2: Challengers. L1NK left Liquid after a one-year tenure due to a lack of motivation and drive to continue to be a professional player.
With Dreamas, Team Liquid earned the second seed in Group B as they moved on to the playoffs stage. Despite their seeding, the roster struggled against other top European teams. They failed to win a single series after back-to-back losses to FunPlus Pheonix and a 2-1 defeat to M3 Champions. Where they would drop out of Masters 2: Copenhagen contention.
Dreamas has announced on Twitter that he is open to seeking new opportunities with interested European teams. Team Liquid will be looking for a player to fill the role that Dreamas has left vacant before the EMEA LCQ begins in August.
Although Team Liquid was knocked out of Masters 2: Copenhagen contention, they have already secured their spot in the EMEA LCQ with 265 VCT circuit points. The organization will be eying a chance to feature in Champions 2022 and scouting for a new fifth to help them achieve this goal.
Team Liquid is currently:
- Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen
- Nabil “Nivera” Benrlitom
- Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom
- Dom “soulcas” Sulcas
- Eamon “cauzed” Drea (Manager)
- Jake “Bacon9” Lloyd (Analyst)
