All three members involved in the roster movements began their 2022 VCT journey in the Japanese region. Hate joined Jadeite during the beginning of the season for Stage 1 Challengers, where he would fail to qualify for the Challenger Playoffs stage after being eliminated in both open qualifier stages. Hate would join DAMWON Gaming during Korea’s Stage 2 Challengers. Hate and Damwon would finish third behind Maru Gaming and the eventual champions, DRX.

allow also join Jadeite alongside Hate before the start of the VCT season. After a disappointing run during Stage 1, the team improved their form heading into Stage 2, where Jadeite qualified for the playoff stage but would fail to win a single series.

Lakia has also experienced inconsistent results during his stint in the Japanese region with IGIZIST. Lakia and company had a strong start during Stage 1 Challengers, finishing third behind Crazy Raccoon and ZETA DIVISION. Despite the solid placement, IGIZIST struggled in Stage 2. The organization qualified for the Closed Group Stage but would miss out on the playoffs after losing against Crazy Raccoon.

Lakia’s loan period to DAMWON Gaming will be for the East Asia LCQ and Champions 2022 if they manage to qualify, according to IGIZIST’s recent tweet.

DAMWON Gaming’s two new acquisitions will reunite allow and Lakia with the organization’s current head coach Kang “solo” Geun-chul. All three played an essential role in NUTURN’s third-place finish at Masters 2: Reykjavik 2021.

Due to DAMWON’s fourth and third place finishes in Korea’s Challengers Playoffs Stage 1 and 2, respectively. DAMWON Gaming will be attending the East Asia LCQ this August and looking to qualify for Champions 2022 with their new roster.
