Cloud9 have not quite hit the heights they did in spring earlier this year. They are currently 3-4 for the season, which has dropped them down to joint sixth in the LCS 2022 summer standings. Immortals, on the other hand, have been in appalling form. They have lost their last five matches to fall to 1-6 for the season, which puts them at the bottom of the league.

As you may expect from teams in the bottom half of the table, Cloud9 have a negative kill to death differential. They have averaged 8.6 kills but 10.4 deaths per game has been their most problematic issue. That is untenable in the LCS with this level of competition in the league.
Their other metrics seem decent, such as their first blood rate of 43 percent, gold per minute of 1743 and their gold differential at 15 minutes of +145. However, there are others that are horrific, such as their first tower rate of 14 percent. They have an average tower difference of -1.3, which is poor.
Who can pick them up out of this misery? Cloud9 actually don’t have to look too far because they have a stable roster that have just not clicked this season. No player is averaging over three kills per map and no player has a KDA of more than 5. Still, they have some of the league’s best, such as Zven but his move to support has not helped.
Berseker in the bot lane has managed low returns of 1.75 kills, 1.75 deaths and 5.5 assists per map at a KDA of 4.14 and a creep score of 231.25. Mid laner Jensen has been decent, with returns of 2.71 kills, 1.86 deaths and 3 assists at a KDA of 3.08, but there is lots of work to do.
Immortals
Immortals have struggled right through this season. They have easily the worst kill to death differential this season, with just 4.4 kills and 13.9 deaths per game. They have picked up first blood on an average of just 14.3% of their matches. They have managed just 1570 gold units per minute, with a negative gold differential of 363 per minute against their opponents. They also have a creep score per minute of just 31.6.

Cloud9 are massive favorites for this one, and understandably so. They have been subpar this season but that could change soon, starting with this weekend’s games. There is not much doubt that Cloud9 are far too strong for this Immortals unit, which will eventually show in this game.
