Dortmund’s last match saw them edge past Werder Bremen 3-2, a game that went back and forth more than Kovac would have liked. Before that, a tidy 1-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt and a battling 2-1 win against Sabah Baku showed some resilience, though the 0-0 stalemate with Union Berlin a few weeks back hinted at occasional attacking droughts.
