Zeus has been a part of the storied T1 organization since 2019, making a name for himself as a sixteen-year-old in the T1 Academy roster. Getting recognition from the Korean Challenger Solo-queue scene, Zeus was promoted to the main team in late 2020 as a substitute top-laner. At the start of the 2022 LCK Spring Split, Zeus was announced as the starting top-laner, replacing Kim “Canna” Chang-dong, who departed the team to join Nongshim Redforce.
Zeus entered the 2022 Spring Split with little prior experience in the LCK. Despite this, he proved to be one of the league’s strongest top-laners. Zeus was critical in securing the first undefeated regular season in LCK history. He earned LCK All-Pro First Team honors during his rookie season and managed to win the LCK title after defeating Gen.G 3-1 in the Grand Finals.
At MSI 2022, Zeus continued to shine in his first international tournament. Unfortunately, Zeus and T1 would lose to Royal Never Give Up in a best-of-five series, failing to clinch his first international title.
With this contract extension, Zeus will most likely continue to add accolades to his promising career as the T1 top-laner, where he will set his sights on clinching the 2022 LCK Summer Split title and the 2022 World Championships.
