Key Betting Angles

Norway’s Haaland is the tournament’s most dangerous weapon. Erling Haaland scored twice in the final eleven minutes to topple Brazil — one of the pre-tournament favourites — netting both against Norway’s Round of 32 opponents Ivory Coast as well. That is four goals in two knockout matches, and Norway are now confirmed quarter-finalists. Any market involving Norway goals or Haaland as anytime scorer deserves serious consideration.

France are ruthless and clean. Les Bleus have won both knockout matches without conceding — a 3–0 demolition of Sweden followed by a controlled 1–0 defeat of Paraguay. Mbappé has been on the scoresheet in each fixture, and France’s defensive structure has been watertight throughout. Backing France to win to nil or Mbappé to score is a consistent proposition as they head into a high-profile quarter-final against Morocco.

Morocco have genuine momentum and goalscoring form. After surviving a nervy extra-time draw against the Netherlands in the Round of 32, Morocco found top gear against Canada — winning 3–0 with Ounahi outstanding and Rahimi adding a late third. Argentina survived a major scare and may carry fatigue into the Round of 16.
