Eight associations climbed in this update, with Austria (#19, 25.250) and Croatia (#21, 24.531) the most prominent risers in the upper-mid tier. Israel (#24, 22.625) and Bulgaria (#27, 20.187) also edged upwards, while Serbia (#29, 17.500) nudged into a slightly improved position further down the table. Among the smaller associations, Andorra (#47, 7.165), Northern Ireland (#50, 6.375), and Georgia (#51, 6.250) all registered upward movement — a reminder that even the lower reaches of the list of ongoing football tournaments can generate meaningful coefficient points.
The flip side saw an equally long list of fallers. Scotland (#20, 25.050) and Romania (#22, 24.500) both slipped, with Ukraine (#23, 24.087) and Slovenia (#25, 22.468) dropping alongside them in a tightly bunched mid-table cluster. Slovakia (#28, 20.125) and Russia (#30, 17.332) also moved downwards, and at the foot of the table Estonia (#48, 7.041) and Luxembourg (#52, 6.250) both gave ground. The margins separating many of these associations remain razor-thin, and a single good or poor run in Europe can be enough to swap several places at once.
