Manchester United have reportedly won the race for Cristian Orozco, the highly-rated Colombian defensive midfielder, in a deal set to be finalised in the summer of 2026. The Red Devils will pay around $1m (£740,000) for the 17-year-old’s signature, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.

Orozco, who currently plays for Rojo FC after leaving Fortaleza earlier this year, has already made a name for himself by captaining Colombia’s Under-17 side to the final of the South American Championship.
