Gori joined FunPlus Pheonix before the start of the 2022 LPL Spring Split after an MVP Regular Season performance in the 2021 LCK Summer Split with Nongshim Redforce. In the LPL, Gori and FunPlus Pheonix had a disappointing run, failing to qualify for the LPL Playoffs and finishing tenth with an 8-8 record. Gori will be looking to recapture the MVP form he had in 2021 as the starting mid-laner for PSG Talon.

The four-time PCS champions had a successful start to the 2022 season, earning the first seed in the Spring Split and claiming their fourth PCS title over CTBC Flying Oysters with a 3-2 victory in the Grand Finals. At MSI 2022, PSG Talon struggled in the Rumble Stage as they dropped essential games against Saigon Buffalo and Evil Geniuses, failing to qualify to the playoffs stage and finishing with a 3-7 record. After MSI 2022, PSG Talon decided to remove jungler Juhan and mid-laner Bay from the roster due to “numerous reasons and a lot of different bits and pieces that were not able to gel and develop with the team.”
PSG Talon is looking to continue their PCS dominance in the Summer Split with their two new additions and hopefully qualify for the 2022 World Championships this year.
PSG Talon is now:
- Su “Hanabi” Chia-hsiang
- Jeong “Burry” Seung-hwan
- Kim “Gori” Tae-woo
- Wong “Unified” Chun Kit
- Ling “Kaiwing” Kai Wing
- Huang “Azhi” Shang-chih (Sub/Top)
- Ng “Pretender” Cheuk Lun (Sub/Mid)
- Cheung “CorGi” Pin-lun (Head Coach)
