Who has the most injuries in the Premier League right now?
Brighton & Hove Albion have been hit hardest this season with 8 players out, followed by Liverpool on 7 and AFC Bournemouth on 6. At the other end, Newcastle United have just 2 absentees, while Everton and Ipswich Town have only 1 each, a huge gap in squad disruption across the division.
The longest-running absences belong to Dejan Kulusevski at Tottenham Hotspur, who has already missed 65 matches with a knee injury, and Giovanni Leoni of Liverpool and Manuel Ugarte of Manchester United, both out for 49 matches with knee problems. Eliot Matazo at Hull City and Nicolò Savona at Nottingham Forest have each missed 40 matches, also with knee injuries.
Not every absence is a squad afterthought.
