Representatives from the Serie A club contacted the 32-year-old midfielder directly to gauge his interest before submitting any official bid to the club. The 2022 World Cup winner asked Milan to refrain from approaching the Xeneize hierarchy, reaffirming his commitment to remaining at La Bombonera.
Captain Commits to Boca Through 2028
