The OGA Dota PIT Invitational is an online $275,000 Dota 2 championship and it is coming to its logical end.
The Dota PIT-series tournament, one of the main Dota 2 events, is sponsored by Sapphire. It started its games on the 6th of September. The organizer of the tournament is One Game Agency.
8 teams competed in the event. Today, the remaining competitors already know their opponents for the final match.
Team Spirit just recently managed to defeat Tundra Esports with 2:0 score in the lower bracket finals match.
Spirit will now play in the grand finals of the competition, where the Russian Dota 2 team will fight against mighty PSG.LGD Gaming, one of the highest ranking Dota 2 teams from China.
Their opponent, Tundra Esports is now out of tournament. The team earned a 3rd place prize of $32,100.
The international roster of T1, one of the Korean-based Dota 2 organizations, featuring players from Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia, placed 4th and earned $22,900.
Other participating teams, such as Fnatic and SG esports, placed 5th-6th, earning $13,800.
Team Undying and Thunder Predator finished the tournament in last 7th-8th places, getting $9,200 prize.
The finals of the OGA Dota PIT Invitational will be held on September 10.
