Morocco were surprise semi-finalists at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, and the federation moved quickly in March to appoint Ouahbi following the resignation of Walid Regragui. Since taking charge, Ouahbi has managed just two matches: a draw with Ecuador and a victory over Paraguay.
The warm-up schedule opens on May 26th with a closed-doors fixture against Burundi at the team’s training centre in Sale. Morocco then host Madagascar on June 2nd in Rabat, a match open to supporters who will send the squad off before their transatlantic departure.
Once based at their camp in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, the Moroccans face Norway on June 7th in New York to round out preparations.
Morocco are expected to begin their pre-tournament camp on May 22nd, with the squad announcement planned for approximately a week after that.
Morocco’s Group C Schedule
Drawn in Group C, Morocco face three opponents across three American cities:
- June 14th – vs. Brazil in New York
- June 20th – vs. Scotland in Boston
- June 25th – vs. Haiti in Atlanta
With limited competitive games under Ouahbi so far, these three warm-ups carry real weight. Follow TipsGG for Morocco match previews, squad updates, and World Cup 2026 betting tips as the tournament approaches.
