Chelsea Football Club have officially confirmed the appointment of Liam Rosenior as head coach of the men’s first team, with the Englishman signing a long-term contract running until 2032.
Rosenior arrives at Stamford Bridge following an impressive spell overseas with RC Strasbourg, where he guided the Ligue 1 side to European qualification for the first time in 19 years during his debut season in France.
Rosenior Returns to the Premier League
The 40-year-old now returns to the Premier League after earlier managerial roles with Hull City and Derby County, having built a growing reputation for developing players, implementing a clear tactical identity and setting high professional standards.
Speaking after his appointment, Rosenior expressed pride and ambition at taking charge of one of England’s most decorated clubs.
“I am extremely humbled and honoured to be appointed head coach of Chelsea Football Club,” Rosenior said.
