La Liga injury table – club by club
Clubs are ranked by how many players are currently out. “Matches missed” is the number of games those absences have already cost the club.
Who has the most injuries in the La Liga right now?
Valencia CF top the injury count with nine players unavailable, comfortably the heaviest toll in La Liga this week. Malaga CF follow with seven absentees and Getafe CF have six, meaning three clubs alone account for a significant share of the league’s total absences. At the other end of the scale, Elche CF, Sevilla FC and Villarreal CF each have just one player missing, a reminder of how unevenly the injury burden is spread this season.
The longest-running cases show how much football some squads have already lost. Rodrygo of Real Madrid has missed 47 matches with a knee injury, the longest absence in the division, with Javi Puado of RCD Espanyol close behind on 41 matches, also a knee problem. Unai Egiluz Arroyo of Athletic Club and Álvaro Odriozola of Real Sociedad have both missed 36 matches with knee injuries, while José Copete of Valencia CF has been out for 31 matches with a sprained ankle.
Not every absence is about time missed though. Igor Zubeldia and Jon Martin of Real Sociedad, Zaid Romero of Getafe CF, César Tárrega Requeni of Valencia CF and Gerard Martín of Barcelona were all involved regularly before being sidelined, each with over 300 minutes and at least four appearances this season, underlining that these are established first-team players rather than fringe squad members.

La Liga suspensions and bans
Suspensions in La Liga arise from yellow-card accumulation, a second caution in the same game, a straight red card, or a separate disciplinary case opened by the federation. Any of these can remove a regular starter from a matchday squad with no warning, which is why the suspension list needs checking as closely as the injury list.
Four players are currently serving bans. André Almeida of Racing Santander and Jon Martin of Real Sociedad are both out through red-card suspensions, as is Zaid Romero of Getafe CF. Facundo Garcés of Deportivo Alavés is also suspended. All four are unavailable for selection until their bans are served.
How injuries and suspensions move the odds
A missing first-choice goalkeeper or centre-back moves a match line faster than almost any other team news, because it changes the expected goals against before a ball is kicked. Losing a main striker has the opposite effect on the other side of the market, dragging down a team’s own goals-scored expectation and shortening the opposition’s clean-sheet price.
The market reacts quickest to fresh, confirmed news, a suspension picked up at the weekend or a knock disclosed on the Monday injury list. Long-running absences such as Rodrygo’s 47 missed matches or Álvaro Odriozola’s 36 are already baked into prices, so they rarely move a line on their own. It is the sudden changes, plus a squad carrying several doubtful players heading into a midweek fixture, that create the real rotation risk and the value.
Checking both lists before placing a bet, injuries and suspensions together, gives a clearer read on squad depth than either list alone, particularly for clubs like Valencia CF and Malaga CF who are currently carrying the heaviest injury counts in the league.
Frequently asked questions
How often does this page update and where does the data come from?
This page updates every Monday, pulling directly from our own verified squad-availability feed covering all 20 La Liga clubs. The current set was last refreshed on 14 Sep 2026, and every figure shown comes straight from that feed.
Which club has the most players out right now?
Valencia CF currently have the most players unavailable in La Liga, with nine out through injury or suspension. Malaga CF are next with seven absentees, followed by Getafe CF on six, making these three the hardest hit squads this week.
What is the difference between injured, doubtful and suspended in these tables?
Injured players are ruled out by a physical problem, suspended players are barred by a card or disciplinary case, and doubtful players are a genuine fitness question mark rather than a confirmed absence. Each status carries a different level of certainty for team selection.
Do you publish expected return dates, and why not?
No. Our feed does not carry expected return dates, so we never guess one. Instead we show matches already missed for long-term absentees and flag doubtful cases separately, giving a factual picture rather than a speculative return date.

Absences are sourced from our sports data provider and reflect the squad status at the time of the update. Clubs do not always disclose a diagnosis or a return date, so treat every entry as the latest available status rather than a guarantee.
