Juventus have confirmed the signing of Bosnia and Herzegovina winger Kerim Alajbegovic from Bayer Leverkusen for €30 million ($34.6 million), with the Serie A club making the announcement on Sunday.

The 18-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year contract at Juventus. Alajbegovic spent last season on loan at RB Salzburg, where he recorded 13 goals across 44 appearances in all competitions.

Born in Germany, Alajbegovic joined Salzburg from Leverkusen, having been part of the German club’s youth academy since 2021. Leverkusen subsequently re-signed him on a five-year deal before this permanent transfer to Turin.

On the international stage, Alajbegovic made a direct impact for Bosnia and Herzegovina during the World Cup playoff campaign. He scored in the penalty shootout victories over Wales and Italy that secured qualification, then netted the opening goal in a 3-1 win over Qatar — the strike that sent Bosnia through to the knockout stages for the first time in their history. Their run ended with a 2-0 defeat to co-hosts the United States.

At just 18, Alajbegovic arrives at Juventus with senior tournament experience and a proven scoring record at club level. Follow TipsGG for continued coverage of this transfer and Juventus’s summer activity.
