A deaths per game average of 7.1 has been the key to that, given that it is the best performance on that front in the league, and a healthy gold per minute rating of 1917 has shown that they’re bringing their A-game to all facets of their superlative season so far.
Team GO refuse to be beaten
Team GO have had a middling tournament, but have shown enough to be considered contenders for the playoffs. One pattern that has emerged with Team GO is that they need to start well or they generally don’t finish well. This is borne out by the fact that they have a 66.67% win rate when they’re ahead in a game at the 15-minute mark. They have also prioritized an ultra attacking strategy – so while the damage per minute is at 2085, their deaths per game is still pretty high up at 15.4.
It is perhaps this aspect of their game that makes them very, very likely to be the team that causes an upset in the near future. GameWard would be as good a team as any to achieve such a feat against.
