Fulham’s Pursuit of Ricardo Pepi
Fulham have made a £28 million bid to sign PSV Eindhoven forward Ricardo Pepi. According to sources, the offer for the 23-year-old United States international falls short of the Dutch club’s £30 million valuation. However, Fulham remain optimistic about reaching an agreement.
Pepi has been in impressive form this season, scoring eight goals in 15 Eredivisie matches and adding three more in five Champions League appearances. His performances have caught the attention of Marco Silva, who is in the market for a new striker.
Fulham’s Striker Situation
The need for a new forward has become more urgent with Rodrigo Muniz sidelined after undergoing hamstring surgery in November. Additionally, current first-choice striker Raul Jimenez, aged 34, is out of contract at the end of the season.
Silva has also confirmed that winger Adama Traore is likely to leave the club after being left out of the squad for Saturday’s 2-1 comeback win over Brighton.
Other Transfer Talks
Fulham have held talks with Manchester City winger Oscar Bobb, but negotiations are not thought to be progressing. This has led the club to focus more on securing the signature of Pepi.
