Fredit BRION vs Hanwha Life Esports Match Prediction LCK Summer Split 2022

28.06.2022, 13:27

Week three of LCK is here and despite most of the matches having a massive favorite we still have some very interesting series.

Fredit BRION vs Hanwha Life Esports might not be the match most fans are excited to see, and it isn’t definitely a match of the week candidate nor something of the sort.

However, in a week where most games have a clear favorite, this is one of the games that escape that narrative, and in theory, will be a very close match between two teams still searching for their first victory in this LCK Summer Split 2022.

Fredit BRION vs Hanwha Life Esports Match Prediction

Fredit BRION and Hanwha Life Esports enter week three of LCK still winless, with both having a 0-4 record and being the only two teams yet to win a series.

It’s true that both teams haven’t shown a great level of play, but their schedule also hasn’t been the most favorable.

Hanwha Life Esports have faced two teams that have yet to drop a series, Gen.G and DRX, and in the other two series, they lost to Kwangdong Freecs 2-1 and Nongshim RedForce also by 2-1.

As for Fredit BRION the squad might have the most difficult schedule of all the teams so far.

They have already faced two of the favorites to win the split in DWG KIA and Gen.G. One team that just like DWG KIA and Gen.G is also still undefeated and has been playing at a very high level at the start of this split in DRX.

With their only “accessible” opponent being KT Rolster a team that on paper looks really good and still hasn’t reached its full potential in my opinion.

If you look at the LCK Spring Split 2022, Fredit BRION despite having a losing record of 8-10 managed to qualify for playoffs, while Hanwha Life Esports performance during that split wasn’t the best to put it lightly, as they ended with a 3-15 record and finished last in the LCK Spring Split 2022.

The rosters from both teams suffered no alterations, and while Hanwha Life Esports hasn’t benefitted from that, Fredit BRION has also not looked great, especially for a roster that reached playoffs last SPlit.

Fredit BRION early game is not good to let us put it that way, the team has an average gold deficit of almost 2k at the 14-minute mark, and hasn’t yet destroyed the first tower of the game, and their first blood percentage is also really low at only 25%.

But the main problem of Fredit BRION is that they seem to be afraid of pulling the trigger. They are a very reactive team and don’t try to create a lot of plays. When they do try to go for a play it’s one that normally doesn’t work out in their favor, or the other team just gets an advantage with a cross-map play.

Hanwha Life Esports early game also isn’t amazing but they have a much better early game than Fredit BRION. Their average gold deficit is only 311, they have a first tower rate of 45.5%, and have the same first blood percentage.

This proves that Hanwha Life Esports can get to the mid-game still in a place where they can contend for the victory, and despite not having a stellar early game the team is more proactive than Fredit BRION, and OnFleek is great at finding good engages when on a champion like Wukong, which he has played in six of the eleven games he played.

Both teams are very flexible when it comes to the drafting phase, but it’s not like they can play every champion at a very high level, so despite still being something good to have I don’t think it makes that many differences for these two teams.

However, Hanwha Life Esports have been good at adapting their draft after game one in both of their last series.

Against Nongshim RedForce they should have won the third game and consequently win the series.

I feel this is going to be a very close game, and probably will go to a third game.

But Hanwha Life Esports has shown me more than Fredit BRION so far, they are more proactive, and they have won games while Fredit BRION hasn’t won any game from the series they played in, they normally draft better, and when it comes to their team fighting I also think they are superior.

I think Hanwha Life Esports will win this series and finally claim their first victory of the Split.

If you are thinking of betting on this game, I advise you to wait until the drafts are out.
