Endrick’s situation at Real Madrid has grown tense, with limited minutes fueling speculation about a January move. Premier League sides have taken notice, but his camp insists the forward has no intention of leaving the Spanish capital.

More than two years after his arrival, the Brazil international is still chasing a genuine breakthrough in Madrid. Endrick has never locked down a regular starting role, and he now finds himself scrapping for any sort of playing time. Injuries have repeatedly interrupted his progress, leaving him on the fringes once again. Last season, a lack of opportunities under the Real Madrid setup pushed him toward a loan at Lyon, a spell in France that produced mixed results.

This summer, reports suggested Endrick was close to a temporary switch to Roma, with new manager Jose Mourinho stepping in to keep him at the Santiago Bernabeu. The Portuguese coach has yet to deliver on that promise. The 20-year-old has logged just four minutes of action this season. A pre-season injury dropped him behind Carlos Espi in the pecking order, and he’s featured in only one of five possible matches.

Endrick surprise in January?

Endrick regained fitness in early September, but Mourinho only gave him a brief run out against Elche in his third match back from injury. He hasn’t appeared on the pitch since that outing.

He was an unused substitute in the clash with Atletico Madrid ahead of the international break. Despite representing Brazil three times during the window, he didn’t get a look-in against Villarreal on Saturday.

Given the scarcity of minutes, transfer chatter has picked up pace. Sources claim his verbal understanding with Roma could resurface in January, while AC Milan has also entered the conversation.

In England, Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly monitoring his circumstances, and Aston Villa have emerged as a more recent suitor. Real Madrid themselves are said to be open to sanctioning another loan spell.

A January departure isn’t locked in, according to Alan Redmond, head of football at Endrick’s agency RocNation. Speaking to AdnKronos, Redmond pushed back on the idea that a move is imminent.

“The financial aspect isn’t important; the player evaluates the club’s project. We’re talking about a player with the qualities to be at Real Madrid; he just needs opportunities.”

“Endrick came from a loan spell at Lyon and played very well in France, then he had some problems, and I think it was also quite frustrating for him not to be at his best physically.”

“The idea has always been to stay in Madrid. We’ll see what happens in the future, but honestly, I think he’ll stay at Real Madrid for a long time. That’s my opinion.”

Asked directly about the swirling rumors, Redmond didn’t hesitate.

“I don’t think he’ll move. The clubs mentioned are fantastic, but I don’t think he’ll go play anywhere else.”

Redmond’s comments paint a picture of a player and camp still committed to fighting for a place at the Bernabeu, even as outside interest mounts. Whether Mourinho shares that patience remains the real question heading into the winter window.
