Four Europa League ties fall on 03 November, and there are football betting tips on every one of them. With three rounds of the league phase already played, the standings have begun to separate the sides heading for the knockout places from those still waiting on a first reward, and that split shapes the markets here: none of the four selections is a straight home or away win, each leaning instead on goal lines, cards or a result-plus-total combination. Prices range from 1.66 at the short end to 2.20 at the long end, and an odds converter will turn those into fractional or American figures if you need them. TipsGG publishes free football predictions with pre-match odds for the Europa League and Europe’s other major club competitions. Sports Data Manager Oleksandr Halian supplies two of the four calls, with TipsGG Sports & Esports Expert Oleksii Svyrydov responsible for the other pair.
| Match | Market | Odds | Analyst |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lillestrøm vs Viktoria Plzen | Lillestrøm to win by 1 goal or draw | 2.20 | Oleksandr Halian |
| Crystal Palace vs Hoffenheim | Both teams to score (Yes) & over 2.5 goals | 1.81 | Oleksii Svyrydov |
| Celtic vs Beşiktaş | Over 3.5 total yellow cards | 1.66 | Oleksii Svyrydov |
| Sunderland vs Dinamo Zagreb | Sunderland not to lose & under 3.5 goals | 1.71 | Oleksandr Halian |
Lillestrøm vs Viktoria Plzen Prediction
Åråsen Stadion hosts two of the eight teams that still do not know the taste of victory after three rounds of the Europa League.
Despite a historic run to the main stage of European competition — their first this century — Lillestrøm‘s continental results are hard to call a success so far. In the Eliteserien, though, the canaries have looked fairly assured since promotion and are again fighting for a European place. The only failure across their last five matches was precisely the Europa League meeting with the far more established Real Sociedad (0:6).
Viktoria Plzen simply cannot find consistency under Radoslav Kováč, regularly alternating defeats with wins. Even so, those results keep the club in contention for a place in the championship group of the Czech top flight. In Europe the Plzen side look rather flat, especially by comparison with recent seasons, when they regularly reached the playoff stage.
Although the bookmakers favour the more experienced Viktoria, the hosts’ recent results combined with home advantage and the visitors’ inconsistency make Lillestrøm the favourite here, as I see it. I believe the canaries are capable of a narrow win or at least a draw, as already happened against another Czech side, Sparta Prague (1:1).
Prediction: Lillestrøm to win by 1 goal or draw – 2.20
Crystal Palace vs Hoffenheim Betting Tips
Defeat to Tottenham (0:2) in the ninth round of the Premier League left the Eagles without points and without forward Jean-Philippe Mateta, who was shown a straight red card as early as the 13th minute, having only just begun rebuilding his fitness after injury. Crystal Palace were placed under enormous pressure by their opponents, who managed 34 shots on Dean Henderson‘s goal against only 2 in reply, yet the keeper produced a string of fine saves and spared his side a heavier beating. Domestic matters are far from ideal: after 9 rounds and with 7 points, Palace sit in the relegation zone in 18th. Despite the internal wobbles, the team is holding its balance in the Europa League, where three rounds have brought 4 points.
The German side also arrive after a setback, losing at the weekend to Werder Bremen (0:2) in the Bundesliga. For all their initiative and greater control of the ball in the opposition half, Hoffenheim could not convert their chances and conceded decisive goals from Niclas Füllkrug and Eren Dinkçi in the second half. On top of that, Mitchell Weiser‘s early injury forced the visitors into a premature tactical reshuffle. In the overall European table, Hoffenheim occupy 23rd place with 3 points.
In my view we are in for a high-scoring contest in which both teams find the net. Despite their Premier League struggles, Crystal Palace, as reigning Conference League holders, have been producing bright, goal-filled games in the more prestigious European competition, while Hoffenheim, after a dreadful start to their international campaign, appear to have rediscovered their confidence with a 3:0 rout of Lyon in the last round.
Prediction: Both teams to score (Yes) & over 2.5 goals – 1.81
Celtic vs Beşiktaş Odds & Pick
The Scottish giants unexpectedly ran into trouble domestically, losing to Falkirk (0:2) and suffering their first defeat to that opponent since 2007. Despite total territorial dominance — 24 shots to 6, 14 corners and 70% possession — the Hoops could not beat their former goalkeeper Scott Bain, who caught fire and produced a series of remarkable saves. Instead, fatal lapses in central defence, including a giveaway from Cameron Carter-Vickers, cost Celtic two goals before the interval. Their Europa League situation looks critical: after three rounds the club sit 35th without a single point.
Meanwhile the Black Eagles threw away victory in the closing minutes of their Turkish Süper Lig match against Kasımpaşa (2:2). Leading 2:0 thanks to strikes from Leandro Trossard and Dušan Vlahović, the Istanbul side surrendered their advantage through failures defending crosses from the flanks. It is worth noting that Beşiktaş showed quality in midfield in that game, where Wilfred Ndidi and the aforementioned Leandro Trossard set the tone. On the international stage things are going well enough: 7 points keep them comfortably in 8th, inside the zone of direct qualification for the last 16.
Given the hosts’ desperation in the table, Celtic Park should see an extremely fierce battle, so in my opinion the disciplinary market deserves attention. The referee will be Germany’s Sascha Stegemann, who averages 4.1 yellow cards per game.
Prediction: Over 3.5 total yellow cards – 1.66
Sunderland vs Dinamo Zagreb Preview
At the Stadium of Light, Sunderland, sitting right on the edge of the top eight in 9th, host a combative Dinamo Zagreb.
A historic return to European competition for the first time since 1973 was a huge celebration for the Black Cats. There is another side to the coin, however: with a squad that is not especially deep, Europa League participation has probably had a negative effect on their Premier League results, where Sunderland currently prop up the table with five points. Régis Le Bris needs to start solving that problem quickly if the club does not want to find itself back in the Championship.
Dinamo Zagreb cannot boast strong away results in the Europa League league phase. Across five such matches, including last season, the Croatians have managed just one win, two draws and two defeats. Through 11 rounds of the new Croatian championship season, the Blues are not producing the kind of assured results they managed last year, when they took the title with an 18-point cushion over their nearest pursuer.
Sunderland are forced to look for a balance in how they spread their resources between the Europa League and the league. The second-tier club competition is generally not a priority for English teams, at least up to a certain stage. I expect solid rotation from Le Bris, as in previous games, and a favourable result for the hosts with a minimal number of goals.
Prediction: Sunderland not to lose & under 3.5 goals – 1.71
Across these Europa League predictions the prices sit in a narrow band, from 1.66 on the cards market at Celtic Park to 2.20 on the Norwegian tie, which is why three of the four picks lean on goals, cards or a result-and-total combination rather than an outright winner. If you want to see what the quartet returns as a single accumulator or as four separate stakes, a free bet calculator will do the arithmetic for you.

FAQ
How many picks are in this Europa League digest?
There are four, one for each tie played on 03 November: Lillestrøm vs Viktoria Plzen, Crystal Palace vs Hoffenheim, Celtic vs Beşiktaş and Sunderland vs Dinamo Zagreb. Every selection comes with the quoted price and the reasoning behind it.
Who wrote these expert football predictions?
Sports Data Manager Oleksandr Halian covers Lillestrøm vs Viktoria Plzen and Sunderland vs Dinamo Zagreb. TipsGG Sports & Esports Expert Oleksii Svyrydov handles Crystal Palace vs Hoffenheim and Celtic vs Beşiktaş.
Which pick has the shortest odds?
Over 3.5 total yellow cards at Celtic Park at 1.66. Svyrydov bases that call on referee Sascha Stegemann, who averages 4.1 yellow cards per game, and on the hosts’ league-phase desperation.
What markets do the four selections use?
A win-by-one-goal-or-draw bet at 2.20, both teams to score plus over 2.5 goals at 1.81, over 3.5 yellow cards at 1.66, and a Sunderland not-to-lose and under 3.5 goals combination at 1.71. Not one of the four is a straightforward home or away win.
Are any of these teams still without a win in the league phase?
Yes. Lillestrøm and Viktoria Plzen are two of the eight sides still winless after three rounds, while Celtic sit 35th without a single point. Beşiktaş, by contrast, hold 7 points in 8th place.
